Craig E. Ennis
|Virginia House of Delegates, District 28|
|Years of service||Virginia National Guard|
|Birthday||May 30, 1974|
|Place of birth||Fredericksburg, VA|
Ennis worked as an electrical apprentice and a contractor for the U.S. Marine Special Operations Command. Ennis served as a member of the Virginia National Guard from 1991 to 1997.
Ennis's campaign website listed the following issues:
- Amendment to 52-8.4:1
"I believe an amendment to 52-8.4:1 that establishes the Virginia Gun Show Identification Card (VGIC) is a step. This card will identify individuals that have been checked and cleared by the Virginia State Police to buy and sell firearms at Virginia gun shows and flea markets."
- Conservative Principles
"Taxing and spending has become a taste that drives the federal government's hand into our lives. No longer can politicians hide behind false principles, making promises while having no intentions of keeping them."
- School Security
"In Virginia, we have 1.3 millions school children that attend 2,200 schools. If we reappropriate $45 million from nine state agencies, we can offer $18,000 towards putting a School Resource Officer in every school in the Commonwealth."
Ennis ran in the 2013 election for Virginia House of Delegates District 28. Ennis is opposed by incumbent Bill Howell in the June 11 Republican primary. The general election takes place on November 5, 2013.
Ennis has a son and grandson.
