Cynthia T. Martin (b. April 11, 1940) is a Democratic and Working Families member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Windsor 3-2. She was first appointed to the chamber on January 17, 2007.


Martin earned her BA from Syracuse University in 1961.

Martin has worked in the following positions: Designer for Woodbury Florist, Executive Secretary for the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, and in Sales for the Johnson & Dix Fuel Corporation. She is currently a Bed & Breakfast Host.

Martin has served as the Secretary of the Springfield Select Board.

Martin won re-election in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Windsor 3-2. Martin was unopposed in the August 28 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

Martin won re-election to the Windsor 1-2 District in 2010. She ran against Alice Emmons (D), Elizabeth Coppola (R), and Paul Gibbs Jr. (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
