The current superintendent of Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District is Dr. Mark Henry, who was appointed in 2011. Dr. Henry has a bachelor's in physical education from the University of Texas, a master's in education administration from the University of North Texas and a doctorate of education in administration. Henry has served as a superintendent in Texas for more than 20 years, beginning as superintendent of schools for Milford ISD in 1991, Collinsville ISD in 1993, Sulphur Springs ISD in 1998 and Galena Park ISD in 2004.[2]
