Dale Risinger is a Republican member of the Illinois State Senate. Risinger has served in the Illinois since 2003. Risinger was re-elected in November of 2006 with his term expiring in 2010.

Risinger graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois-Champaign-Urbana in 1968. Risinger is a retired construction engineer and used to work with the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Risinger is running for re-election to the 7th District Seat in the Illinois State Senate with no opposition. The election takes place on November 2, 2010. Risinger ran unopposed in the Republican primary election on February 2nd.[2]


On November 7, 2006, Republican Dale Risinger won re-election to the Illinois State Senate District 37 receiving 43,138 votes, ahead of Democrat Bob Sheehan 29,059 votes.[3]
