Dale Risinger was a Republican member of the Illinois State Senate. Risinger has served in the Illinois from 2003-2011. Risinger was re-elected in November of 2010 with his term expiring in 2015. However, on February 17, 2011, he submitted a letter of resignation, with his last day in office being February 28.[1]

Risinger graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois-Champaign-Urbana in 1968. Risinger is a retired construction engineer and used to work with the Illinois Department of Transportation.
