Dale Risinger is a Republican member of the Illinois State Senate. Risinger has served in the Illinois since 2003. Risinger was re-elected in November of 2006 with his term expiring in 2010.

Risinger graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois-Champaign-Urbana in 1968. Risinger is a retired construction engineer and used to work with the Illinois Department of Transportation.
