Dan Dolan was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 2nd Congressional District of Iowa. Dolan was defeated by John Archer in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012.[1]

Dolan ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Iowa's 2nd District. Dolan sought the nomination on the Republican ticket. [3] Joe Seng was defeated by incumbent Dave Loebsack in the Democratic primary.[1] Dolan was defeated by John Archer in the Republican primary.[1] Candidates wishing to run were required to file by the signature filing deadline of March 16, 2012. The primary elections took place on June 5, 2012.[4]
