Dan Lederman (b. November 25, 1972) is a Republican member of the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 16. Lederman was elected to the South Dakota State Senate in 2010.

Lederman served as County Commissioner of Union County from 2005 to 2007. He was a candidate for the South Dakota State House in 2006 but was not elected. He was then elected to the South Dakota House in 2008. He served in that position until 2011, representing the 16th District. Lederman and his wife, Jessica, have two children.

Lederman received United States Army Medic Training in 1991. He then attended the University of Iowa

Lederman served as a Medic in the United States Army from 1991 to 1995, and in the United States Army National Guard from 1990 to 2000. He has been a Registered Agent for Seneca Insurance Company since 1995. He has also been the owner of Lederman Bonding Company.

Lederman won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota State Senate District 16. Lederman ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5 and defeated Michael O'Connor (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1]
