Dan Morrish (b. October 20, 1950) is a Republican member of the Louisiana State Senate, representing District 25.


Morrish earned his BS in Agriculture from McNeese State University.

Political experience

Morrish served in the Louisiana State House of Representatives from 1996 to 2007. He then joined the Louisiana State Senate in 2008. He has served in that position since, representing the 25th district.

In 2007 Morrish was elected to the Louisiana State Senate District 25. Morrish (R) finished with 11,186 votes while his opponent Gil Pinac (D) finished with 9,556 votes.[1] Morrish raised $297,335 for his campaign fund.[2]
