Dan Muhlbauer is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives. He has represented the 51st District since January 10, 2011.

Muhlbauer won election to the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Daniel D. Dirkx (R) in the November 2 general election.[1]

Muhlbauer was nominated for the 51st House district seat July 19th in a special convention. The convention was called because Democrat Larry Lesle dropped out of the race before the primary. [2]
