Dan Ruby (b. December 1, 1964) is a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing the 38th District since 2000.

Ruby is a partner and office manager of Circle Sanitation, Incorporated. He graduated from Burlington High School.

Ruby ran in the 2012 election for North Dakota Senate District 38. Ruby and fellow incumbent Larry Bellew ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 12. They defeated Robert E. Kibler and Mike Rose in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
