Dan Saddler is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing District 12. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010. He formerly served as campaign communications director for Murkowski for Governor.

Biography

Saddler earned his B.A. in Journalism from Miami University of Ohio in 1983 and his M.A. in Journalism from Ohio State University in 1987. Saddler's professional experience includes working in the following positions: newspaper reporter, engineering magazine editor, legislative staff for various Alaska lawmakers, public relations writer/account executive for a large Alaska native regional corporation, commissions for the Office of the Governor of the State of Alaska, deputy press secretary/deputy director of boards and commissions for the governor's office, special assistant to the Department of Natural Resources of the State of Alaska, reporter for the Anchorage Times and press secretary for the Alaska House of Representative's Republican Majority.
