Biss is running in the 2012 election for Illinois State Senate District 9. Biss is running unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012. Incumbent Jeffrey Schoenberg (D) is not running for re-election. Marc Levine is running unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[1]
