David Edwards (b. 1966) was a Democratic member of the Oregon House of Representatives. He represented District 30 from 2007 to 2011.

Edwards is founder/Chief Executive Officer of Zanthus. He also has been a legislative analyst at the Oregon Economic Development Department.

Edwards has earned two MS degrees: in Public Affairs at the University of Oregon and in English Literature at the University of Southern California. He earned his bachelor degree in English Literature at the University of Southern California.

Edwards and his wife, Michelle have two children.[1]

Edwards ran for re-election to the 30th District Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition but was challenged by Shawn Lindsay in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.
