Fried is a candidate for District 14 of the New Jersey General Assembly. Fried and Wayne Wittman were bracketed together and defeated Bruce MacDonald in the June 7 Republican primary. Incumbents Daniel Benson and Wayne DeAngelo ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Steven Welzer is also running as an Independent in the November 8 general election.[1]
