David Gantt (b. September 12, 1941) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. He has represented District 133 since 1983. Gantt's political experiences include legislator for Monroe County Legislature, 22nd Legislative District and assistant majority leader of Monroe County Legislature.

Gantt's professional experiences include administrator for Anthony Jordan Health Center; working member of Lithographers and Photoengravers International Union Local 230; and youth counselor for the City of Rochester.

Gantt attended Rochester Institute of Technology and Roberts Wesleyan College.[1]
