David Heaton (b. February 2, 1941) is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 91st District since 1995.

Heaton is the Owner of Iris Restaurant, and has been a teacher, and served in the United States Army Reserve.

He is a member of the Henry County Farm Bureau, Henry County Pork Producers, Iowa Restaurant Association, Kiwanis, Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, and the Presbyterian Church.[1]

Heaton is running for re-election to the 91st District Seat in 2010 against Ron Fedler (D). Heaton had no opposition in the Republican primary. The general election takes place on November 2, 2010.

On November 4, 2008, Heaton was re-elected to the 91st District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Ron Fedler (D). [2] Heaton raised $71,886 for his campaign, while Fedler raised $34,503. [3]
