David Heaton (b. February 2, 1941) is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 91st District since 1995.

Heaton is the Owner of Iris Restaurant, and has been a teacher, and served in the United States Army Reserve.

He is a member of the Henry County Farm Bureau, Henry County Pork Producers, Iowa Restaurant Association, Kiwanis, Mount Pleasant Chamber of * Commerce, and the Presbyterian Church.[1]

Heaton won re-election to the 91st District seat against Ron Fedler (D). Heaton had no opposition in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[2]
