David Heaton (b. February 2, 1941) is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 91st District since 1994.

Heaton is the Owner of Iris Restaurant, and has been a teacher, and served in the United States Army Reserve.

He is a member of the Henry County Farm Bureau, Henry County Pork Producers, Iowa Restaurant Association, Kiwanis, Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, and the Presbyterian Church.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Heaton was re-elected to the 91st District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Ron Fedler (D). [2] Heaton raised $71,886 for his campaign, while Fedler raised $34,503. [3]
