Republican David Hildenbrand of Lowell is the current state representative for the 86th District of the Michigan House of Representatives serving his third term. Rep. Hildenbrand graduated as Valedictorian from Lowell High School. Dave graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Resource Management. He is 35 years old, and a lifelong member of Kent County. Born November 15, 1973, Dave is the youngest of six children born to Rose and Lee Hildenbrand. He has twelve nieces and nephews and lives with his wife, Sarah and daughter Jane in his hometown of Lowell, Michigan. Dave is a Parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church and is an avid hunter and fisherman.

Previous Offices Held

Dave was the Chief of Staff for State Senator Bill Hardiman, Deputy Chief of Staff for Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus, and an Agriculture Policy Advisor for Governor John Engler. He began his career working as the District Representative in Kent County for then Senate Majority Leader Dick Posthumus.
