Myers is an independent contractor. He earned his BS from the University of Phoenix and also attended Hinds Junior College and Southwest Junior College.
Myers is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Boys' and Girls' Club, LOOK, Masons, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Parent Teacher Association, and Project Forward.
