David Myers (b. December 30, 1961) is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He has represented the 98th District since 1996.

Myers is an independent contractor. He earned his BS from the University of Phoenix and also attended Hinds Junior College and Southwest Junior College.

Myers is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Boys' and Girls' Club, LOOK, Masons, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Parent Teacher Association, and Project Forward.[1]

Myers is running in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 9. He defeated Tasha Dillon in the primary on August 2, 2011. No Republican candidates filed to run for election. The general election takes place on November 8, 2011. [2]


On November 6, 2007 Myers was re-elected in District 98, running unopposed.[3]
