Pinckney was a candidate for District 28 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. Pinckney replaced Sajda Barlas on the general election ballot. He was opposed by Carol Humphreys (R), incumbent Ralph Caputo (D), and incumbent Cleopatra Tucker (D) in the November 8 general election.[1]
