David Robertson (b. June 24, 1960) is a Republican member of the Michigan State Senate, representing the 26th District since January 1, 2011. Robertson was first elected to the Michigan legislature as a Representative in 1991, serving until 1992. He then returned to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2002 and served until 2008.

Robertson attended the University of Michigan at Flint, graduating in 1982 with a degree in Political Science and History. David attended and graduated from Swartz Creek High in 1978.
