David Russell (b. April 29, 1936) is a 2014 Republican candidate for Belknap 5 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

He is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Belknap 6 from 2000 to 2012.

Biography

Russell earned a diploma from Proctor Academy and attended Colby College. His professional experience includes owning and operating The Village Store, sales representative, route sales, and grocer.[1]

Elections for the office of New Hampshire House of Representatives will take place in 2014. A primary election took place September 9, 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Deborah Chase and Hammond Brown were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while David Russell and Peter Varney defeated Joel Lambert, Mike Metcalfe and Gerald Theodora in the Republican primary. Chase, Brown, Russell and Varney will face off in the general election.[2]
