David T. Daniels is the Ohio Director of Agriculture. He was first appointed by Governor John Kasich on February 15, 2012.[1] Prior to his appointment, Daniels served as a Republican member of the Ohio State Senate, representing District 17.

Biography

Before entering politics, he worked on and helped manage Daniels Brothers Farm with his father.[2]

Daniels graduated from the Laurel Oaks Farm Management Program.

Ohio State Senate (2011-2012)

Daniels previously served as a Republican member of the Ohio State Senate, representing District 17. He was elected to the Ohio State Senate in 2010 and served until his resignation in February of 2012 when he was named to head the Ohio Department of Agriculture.[3]
