On November 8, 2011, Yancey won re-election to District 94 of the Virginia House of Delegates. He was uncontested in the August 23 primary and defeated Gary West (D) in the November 8 general election.

  • Jobs and Economic Growth

Excerpt: "As a small business owner and entrepreneur, I understand the needs of business to grow and create jobs. Business needs a stable regulatory environment that encourages investment and growth. Lower taxes means more money for Virginia families and less of our dollars going to Richmond."

  • Taxes

Excerpt: "Instead of working to raise taxes, I will partner with others in the General Assembly to create a pro-business and pro-citizen economic plan that will not only help job creation for families but also fund the needed services of government without raising taxes."

  • Education

Excerpt: "I believe that the focus of education should be learning, not administrative bureaucracy. We should have highly-trained, well-compensated teachers and need to make sure the money spent in schools gets to the classroom where it can impact results."

  • Transportation

Excerpt: "Governor Bob McDonnell has made great progress in moving many transportation projects forward, and I support his efforts. Transportation not only means major projects like relieving congestion on the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel and on I-64 to Richmond, but also on our local roads and streets. We need to make sure that we get our fair share of revenue from Richmond. Energy."
