Dawn M. Caruss was a Democratic candidate for District 97 of the Wisconsin State Assembly. The primary election was on September 14, 2010 and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

Caruss is a nurse. She graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College, earned a M.S. in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BSN from Alverno College. She is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at Alverno College. [1]

Caruss was defeated by incumbent Republican Bill Kramer in the November 2 general election. She was unopposed in the primary election. [2]
