Dawn Hill is a Democratic member of the Maine State Senate, representing District 1. She was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Hill served in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 149 from 2006 to 2010. She was appointed to serve on the Indigent Legal Services Study Commission by Chief Justice Leigh Saufley during the 2011-2012 legislative session.

Biography

Hill earned her B.S. in Marketing from Dickinson College in 1974 and her J.D. from the West Virginia University Law School. Her professional experience includes working as a corporate and real estate lawyer at her own firm, Owner of It's a Dog's World and senior serving member of the board of directors for MMG Insurance of Presque Isle, Maine.
