Dawn Pettengill is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 39th District since 2005.

Pettengill has served as Commissioner of the Department of Elder Affairs, and worked in the retirement and financial services industry.

She is a member of the Belle Plaine Optimists Club and Advisor to the Mount Auburn Youth Council.[1]

Pettengill ran in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 75. Pettengill ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012 and will face Sandra K. Cronbaugh (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
