Dean Kaufert (b. May 23, 1957) is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 55th District since 1991. He previously served as an Alderman for the City of Neenah from 1985-1991.

Kaufert is the owner of the Trophy and Awards Store. He is a member of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce, Neenah-Menasha Bowling Association, Neenah-Menasha Elks Club, Neenah-Menasha Noon Optimists, and the Winnebago County Republican Party.[1]

Kaufert won re-election in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 55. Kaufert defeated Jay Schroeder in the Republican primary on August 14[2] and defeated Jim Crail (D) and Rich Martin (L) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3]
