Dean Kaufert (b. May 23, 1957) is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 55th District since 1991. He previously served as an Alderman for the City of Neenah from 1985-1991.

Kaufert is the owner of the Trophy and Awards Store. He is a member of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce, Neenah-Menasha Bowling Association, Neenah-Menasha Elks Club, Neenah-Menasha Noon Optimists, and the Winnebago County Republican Party.[1]

Kaufert is running in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 55. Kaufert is running against Jay Schroeder in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012. Jim Crail is running unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[2]
