Debbe Leftwich was a Democratic member of the Oklahoma State Senate, representing the 44th District. Leftwich joined the senate in 2003 after her husband, Senator Keith Leftwich who died of cancer in September that year. She was re-elected in 2006. Leftwich retired in 2010.

Leftwich attended both Oklahoma Baptist University and the University of Central Oklahoma.

Leftwich was born September 7, 1951 in Chandler, Oklahoma. Leftwich is a widow and has two children: Kevin and Kurt. They currently reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Leftwich's husband, former Senator Keith Leftwich, died of cancer September 2003.
