Deborah L. Ruggiero (b. April 2, 1958) is a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 74. She was first elected to the chamber in 2008. She is currently serving as Deputy Majority Leader.

Biography

Ruggiero earned her B.A. from Boston College. Her professional experience includes working as Director of Community Development Citadel Radio and as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Providence College.

Ruggiero won re-election in the 2012 election for Rhode Island House of Representatives District 74. Ruggiero was unopposed in the September 11 Democratic primary and defeated Anthony Mastrostefano in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
