Debra Plowman is a Republican member of the Maine State Senate. Plowman has served in the Maine Senate since 2004. Plowman was re-elected in November of 2008 with her term expiring in 2012. Before being a Senator, Plowman served in the Maine House of Representatives from 1992 to 2000.

Plowman attended the University of Southern Maine. In addition to being a Senator, Plowman is a business owner.
