A Miracle in Sussex County

Delaware: Once again, Kris Kringle's claim that he is Santa Claus has been held up by the Superior Court of Delawares. Presiding judge James T. Vaughn, Jr. ruled in Kringle's favor in December of 2011, who then led the courthouse audience in singing a chorus of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer".

The court has an annual tradition of re-enacting the famous scene from "A Miracle on 34th" each year for an audience of students from around the state. It was started seven years ago by attorney Richard Herrmann who thought it would be an entertaining way to educate kids about the judicial process.

Jameson Volko, 10, of Wilmington is the youngest cast member in the production. He says that "I do it because it brings a lot of holiday spirit to people".[1]
