Delaware Governor's race takes shape

Delaware: Businessman Jeff Cragg has announced he will challenge Governor Jack Markell (D) in Delaware's gubernatorial election this fall. Cragg will run as a Republican.[1]
As an owner of a Mailboxes Etc. franchise, Cragg is emphasizing jobs in his campaign.[1]
Cragg is at a monetary disadvantage, with Governor Markell already reporting $1.4 million in campaign funds. While acknolwedging this, Cragg says, "We're going to have enough money to engage the governor on the issues and I think he's going to have his hands full."[1]
Markell was elected as governor in 2008, when he received over 67 percent of the vote.
Two other Delaware executive offices are up for election in 2012: Lieutenant Governor and Insurance Commissioner. Sher Valenzuela, a businesswoman, has announced she will run for Lieutenant Governor; the incumbent is Democrat Matthew Denn.
