Dennis Cohoon (b. March 29, 1953) is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 88th District since 1987.

Cohoon is a Special Education Teacher at Burlington Community High School, and has served in the United States Army National Guard.

He is a member of the Burlington Education Association, Des Moines County District Central Committee, Geode Education Association, Iowa State Education Association, and the Oak Street Baptist Church.[1]
