Derek Owen (b. December 12, 1931) is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing the Merrimack 4 District from 1992 to 2012. Owen was a candidate for the Republican/Democratic Parties in 1996 and chair of Hopkinton Conservation Commission.

Owen's professional experience is in farming, self-employment, stonemasonry, and the United States Army.

Owen earned his B.S. from the University of New Hampshire.
