Costa is running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Texas' 25th District. He is seeking the nomination on the Republican ticket. Incumbent Lloyd Doggett is running on the Republican ticket. The primary takes place on March 6, 2012. If Costa wins the primary, the general election will take place on November 6, 2012.
