Dick Cohen is a Democratic Farm-Labor member of the Minnesota State Senate, representing District 64 since 1987 Cohen is a former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, serving from 1977 to 1979 and again from 1983 to 1987.

Cohen graduated from Northwestern with his Bachelor's degree and later graduated with his Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell Law. Cohen is a former Public Defender for Hennipen County.

Cohen won re-election in District 64 for State Senate. He defeated Alexander H. Jeffries in the Democratic primary on August 14 and defeated Sharon Anderson (R) and Scott Larson (I) in the general election on November 6.[1][2]
