Dick Elliott (b. September 26, 1937) is a former Democratic member of the South Carolina State Senate representing the 28th district from 1992-2012.

Elliott's political experience began with his service on the North Myrle Beach City Council from 1962 to 1966. He was the Chairman of North Myrtle School Board from 1968 to 1971. He was then the Vice Chair from Horry County Council from 1976 to 1980. He served in the South Carolina State House from 1982 to 1992. Elliott joined the South Carolina State Senate in 1992 and served in that position until 2012.

Elliott has been the owner of Elliott Realty Corporation since 1959. He has been the Major Owner of Beachwood Golf Club from 1967 to the present. He has also been developer and owner of Eagle Nest Golf Club since 1970.

Elliott attended Wingate Junior College in 1958. He went on to attend Clemson University in 1960.

Elliott won re-election for District 28 of the South Carolina State Senate with 22,696 votes, ahead of Republican candidate Bill McKown (16,797) and write-ins (18).[1]
