A District 2 Joint Fire Tax Levy (2) was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Gallia County, Ohio, where it was approved.[1]

This measure replaced a tax levy for 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation which amounts to twenty cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation for fire protection in Guyan Township and Ohio Township. If enacted this levy will commence in 2012.

A replacement of a tax for the benefit of District 2 Joint Fire District Gallia County, Ohio, for the

purpose of FIRE PROTECTION at a rate of two (2) mills for each one dollar of valuation which amounts to twenty cents ($0.20) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1]
