DiCicco is running for re-election in 2011. He and Bob Villare ran unopposed in the Republican Primary on June 7. Incumbents John Burzichelli and Celeste Riley ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. DiCicco was moved out of District 4 via the redistricting process.[2]

Redistricting

NJ Spotlight has identified the 3rd District as a potential place for the GOP to pickup a seat in the Assembly. With redistricting moving DiCicco to the 3rd district, he has the advantage of running with incumbent status. Additionally, his running mate Villare came within 1,300 votes of defeating Celeste Riley in 2009. [3]

2009

In the 2009 General Election he was bracketed with Eugene Lawrence and faced incumbent Paul Moriarty and candidate William Collins.[4][5]
