Don Harmon is a Democratic member of the Illinois State Senate. Harmon has served in the Illinois Senate since 2003. Harmon was re-elected in November of 2006 with his term expiring in 2010. Harmon currently serves as the Assistant Majority Leader.

Harmon graduated from Knox College with his Bachelor's degree and later graduated with his Master's in Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Chicago. Harmon is a practicing Attorney in addition to being a Senator.
