Don Harmon is a Democratic member of the Illinois State Senate. He has served in the Illinois Senate since 2003. Harmon was re-elected in November of 2010 with his term expiring in 2013. Harmon currently serves as an President Pro Tempore.

Harmon is running for re-election to the Illinois State Senate in District 39 in the 2012 election. Harmon is running unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[2]

On November 7, 2006, Democrat Don Harmon won re-election to the Illinois State Senate District 39 receiving 57,487 votes, ahead of Republican Jim Rowe receiving 11,159 votes.[3]
