Don Kopp is a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 35. He was first elected to the chamber in 2008.

Biography

Kopp has worked as an Incident Commander for the United States Forest Service/National Park Service, a Special Projects Forester/Lead Fire Investigator, the owner of a forestry consulting business, the author of the book Modern Science and An Ancient Text, and a member of the United States Navy. He also worked as Commander/Professional Forester for the South Dakota Division of Forestry from 1969 to 1998.
