Vanpool is a Manager at General Electric. He holds a MBA from the University of Chicago.[2]

Vanpool ran in the 2010 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 84. Vanpool was defeated by Republican Mike Kuglitsch in the general election on November 2, 2010. Vanpool was unopposed in the Democratic primary election on September 14, 2010.[3][4]

Campaign themes
