Cox is an attorney, and practices law at Volpe and Koenig, P.C., an intellectual property boutique law firm. Prior to joining Volpe and Koenig, Cox operated his own firm which he recently merged with Volpe and Koenig upon joining there. He is an Intellectual Property practitioner, and his experience includes counseling clients on the protection of IP rights in the fields of e-commerce, computer hardware/software, telecommunications, data compression, bio-medical and mechanical devices. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is a member of the New Jersey and California State bars. Cox also served in the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as an Integration Engineering Chief for the Worldwide Military Command and Control Information System (WIS) Program.
