Donald Roberts (b. July 18, 1948) is a former Republican member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing the 56th District from 2003-2007 and from 2009-2013. Roberts was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 27 of the Montana State Senate.[1]

Biography

Roberts earned his DMD/MS in oral surgery from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 1979 and his DMD from Washington University St. Louis. Roberts' professional experience includes working as the CEO at Riverstone Oral Surgery and Implants, LLC.

Elections for the office of Montana State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014, and a general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for major party candidates wishing to run in this election was March 10, 2014; minor party and independent candidates had until June 2, 2014, to file. Eric Johnson was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Cary Smith defeated Donald Roberts in the Republican primary. Smith defeated Johnson in the general election. Incumbent Elsie Arntzen (R), who was not up for re-election, was reassigned to District 26 by redistricting.[2][3]
